Comprehensive Facility Safety
Helping You Achieve and Maintain a Safe Working Environment for Every Employee
At Matthai Material Handling, we believe safety means much more to your operation than meeting the government’s requirements. Although fines and trial awards have nearly doubled in recent years, more is at stake.
Providing a safe workplace for your employees is important. After all, their families are counting on you. Manufacturing, handling and storage facilities can be very dangerous places, and our job is to ensure that your employees know the safe operating procedures of your facility and follow them.
Reducing Your IR (Incident Rate)
Insurance companies, your customers, potential customers, OSHA and even courts will look at your IR as an indication of your facility’s efforts to maintain a safe working environment.
Lowering your IR is central to our program’s efforts. Lowering your IR lowers your costs and improves productivity, customer retention and your bottom line.
We have a plan, and we’ll work with you to execute it and help you maintain it.

Increased Productivity - Employees that are trained to operate safely can operate more efficiently. Improved efficiency leads to better productivity.
Better Care & Increased Useful Life - Employees that are “safety-minded” care for the equipment they operate and the environment they work in. This leads to better care and a longer useful life of your assets.
Reduced Costs - Fewer accidents, claims and product damage all add up to an improved bottom line for your business!
